Since the addition of Electronic Services in 2006, local industry has kept the department busy and has provided a focus for the wide range of electronic services initially offered. We have found a demand for cut-to-length controls and machine automation and have successfully implemented our control panels across several local industries. As a result, the emphasis of our electronic services has shifted from repairs to automation and control. We are currently developing a high efficiency DC traction control system for use in electric vehicles featuring new regenerative technology to extend the vehicles range, which complements our new position as Powabyke agents. |
