Automatic Capstan Table
Recent interesting projects included the automation of an expanding capstan table. The main challenge in this project being the continuous monitoring of motor current to provide an instantaneous safety trip in the event of trapped fingers etc.

The Jack Lifter is designed to remove block-filled access covers in shopping precincts and other locations, these lifters rated at 250kg, will lift covers safely and with ease. The Jack-Lifter breaks down into a narrow three-wheeled trolley allowing easy transportation to pedestrian sites. The powerful jack mechanism may be operated safely by a single operator.
By keeping within HSE limits Jack-Lifter goes a long way towards minimising the risk of painful and long lasting back injuries (45% of all lifting injuries are to the back). Available with a range of standard keys or keys to match the customers exact cover requirements. Specifications
