Based in Cumbria, AES offer specialist engineering solutions. From the foundation of our first company in 1989 we have been involved with the design and implementation of many challenging projects for industry and the utilities sector. We utilise the latest 3D Solid Modelling, Stress Analysis and Dynamic Simulations as part of our engineering techniques. Advanced prototyping and close links with a major manufacturer enables us to provide complete packages from conception to final manufacture in a diverse range of modern industry.

Electronic and Automation Development

Since the addition of Electronic Services in 2006, local industry has kept the department busy and has provided a focus for the wide range of electronic services initially offered. We have found a demand for cut-to-length controls and machine automation and have successfully implemented our control panels across several local industries. As a result, the emphasis of our electronic services has shifted from repairs to automation and control. We are currently developing a high efficiency DC traction control system for use in electric vehicles featuring new regenerative technology to extend the vehicles range, which complements our new position as Powabyke agents.
